To make a difference. I receive more joy out of giving my creations to others, than keeping them myself.  I love giving a gift from the heart for any reason, or no reason.  So here’s my idea…

Instead of making just one card, I make 2, 3, or sometimes 4 cards. Making more than one takes just seconds, and can make a big difference in someone’s life.  By donating my extra cards to military linked, non-profit organizations, I know my card has gone to someone who will really appreciate the down home comfort of something made just for them.  To know they are in your hearts, and just for a moment forget where they are and what they’re doing.

         Operation Military Pride -  OMP not only sends cards, letters, and care packages.  But also distributes troop names and addresses to patriots wanting to send cards, letters or care packages directly to troops. One of the very few groups that allow direct contact with a service member, eliminating the “middle man” and expenses.

         Let’s Say Thanks! -  This site gives you an opportunity to send a free printed postcard to US military stationed overseas.  Many are designed by children, and you can add a personal inspiring message.  Oh, and it’s FREE to really make someone’s day!
